2008 diet works / slimmer 8 Thomas contract

funky, funky (but chic?)
The
2d floor at 8 Thomas Street had been on the market for quite a while last year (14 months, into November), was taken off the market then came back three weeks ago with a new firm , a slimmer price (January 15: welcome 8 Thomas back, slimmer) and the lead “not simply a loft”.

I hit the price history in that January 15 post:

September 2006 to November 2007 at $2.95mm, $2.775mm and $2.76mm, it is now priced at $2.595mm and $2,307/mo (condo) for “2,170 sq ft”

Now it is in contract.

funny ha-ha or funny peculiar?
I also hit this as a “funny block”, with this interesting building almost marooned in a (nearly) otherwise bland commercial / tower block. With this pending sale, perhaps the first floor unit will soon come back to market:

The 1st floor (somehow a triplex) had been offered for sale from September 2006 to November 2007 through BHS at $2.95mm for “2,902 sq ft”, without selling. I suspect that the 1st floor will be back if the 2d floor sells soon.

Props to the seller (the developer?) and Sean Turner of Stribling for turning this one on the path to cash.
