right buyer climbs up (and down) at 123 Prince, gets steamed

#1R at 123 Prince Street was marketed as “ideal live/work for the right buyer”, and that person has now come forward. In a world of too many “unique lofts” this one has an unusual layout, to say the least.

Two and a half baths, a steam shower and sauna and hot tub. One bedroom, exactly, on the (open) mezzanine level, with little prospect for an easy fix to add another. A “bright skylight” but very few windows (back of building, ground floor and below in Soho). Six-burner Vulcan range and a two-desk work station.
Three levels with “2,372 sq ft”, asking $1.775mm ($1,500/mo maintenance); it is now in contract just under a month after its first showing. Kudos to Siim Hanja at Stribling for a quick result on a challenging listing.
