more pushing in Chelsea / appreciate much?

seeking The Magic Number or needing to sell??
There’s a new Manhattan loft listing in a Chelsea new development that closed within the last two years. This one closed at about $1,100/ft when brand spanking new. They think The Market loves this building, as this one is offered for re-sale at nearly $1,400/ft. (The wanna-be-seller-soon was not fully enthusiastic a buyer when s/he signed a contract in 2006, however; s/he got a slight discount off the new development asking price.)

Perhaps s/he does not have to sell…. If it sells, it will be the first re-sale in the building. I am feeling too pushy here, rather than not pushy enough. Only The Market knows, however ….
