weekend diversion / Manhattan as you’ve never seen it (until this week, when you saw it everywhere)

The Russian guy with a helicopter, a camera, and tons of technology took the World Wide Web by storm this week, with one particular photo of Central Park appearing pretty much everywhere on the net. The New York Daily News ran an extended article about the guy and his 3-D photos, with links to his other projects and, more importantly, links to his Manhattan gallery. and his helicopter tour over the big island.

Way cool. Jump in anywhere, return any time, and set an alarm if you need to be somewhere else (or do somewhere else) in an hour or two.
